Sarah always complained about her old dingy laptop, so she bought a top of the the line model. It was fancy, it was elegant with gold lettering. Bringing it home she laid it on her bed, near the closed window and picked up her old one throwing it out the open window to the driveway below. Max, her two hundred pound Newfie thought it was time to play catch, jumped on her bed sending her new laptop crashing through the closed window landing in a pile of broken metal scrap with gold letters sprawled across her lawn.
This short post was written using the Swimmers prompt: laptop and TalesfromtheMindofKristian prompt: elegant

Sometimes a wonderful treasure
A thing that we’ve bought just for leisure
Can suddenly break
Bringing lots of heartache
Which is opposite, really, to pleasure.

Excellent Idea to use two word prompts in one story. I like it 🙂
