The Floor

dirt, dust, food, foot prints
why must you abuse me so
water, mud, snow, slush
I am here, underneath you
your loyal servant, the floor

Daily Fun Three

So, Rory asks us for three things that go along with the topic. Here’s my take (without using Google):

Name Three …

Things you can find in a garbage/rubbish/trash can beginning with the letter D? Dirty dish, dirty diaper, damaged diaries.

Things that can be found floating on the wind? farts, forgotten songs, falling leaves

Things in a river that are not fish? frogs, mosquitoes, snapping turtles

Things found around the house beginning with the letter E? earwigs, elates (damn annoying things), empty wrappers

Animals that don’t have the letter E in their name? dog, cat, bird

Bands/Groups that have three [3] in their name [not a song]? Three Dog Night, Timbuk3, hmm…….that’s all I have

Holidays/Vacations that only involve visiting ruins? parents (they’ll ruin most holidays), Machu Pichu, Washington D.C. (its a ruin of its former self)

Things that can seriously ruin your day? Phone call from mother, phone call from son’s school, missionary knocking on door

Roman Gods? Neptune, Apollo, Jupiter

Animals that lay eggs? [Monotremes ] platypus, echidna, hmm…..don’t know/remember a third

Three letters in the alphabet that don’t sound the same as the other letters? Q, W, X (I have no idea what you’re really asking)

Gemstones that start with the letter T? Topaz, tourmaline, tanzanite

Cocktails that begin with the letter M? Molotave, hmm…margarita?…I don’t drink alcohol. Sorry.

Hobbies that are no longer as popular as they were twenty years ago? Macrame, hosting key parties (spouse swap parties), hosting tupperware parties.
