While browsing the reader, two interesting posts caught my eye. One was a polite rant about poetry that I found quite snobbish (yes, that is rude to say, I know, but pfft). The other was something called a didactic cinquain by Nova. My first thought was “what in the hell is that?” then I read it and, damn, those are pretty cool and fun! I am sure everyone else and his brother knows what these are, but I didn’t. See, you can learn something new every day. Anyways, I thought they looked really fun, so here are a few of my own.
Rules (copied from Nova):
Line 1 = one single word = NOUN
Line 2 = two words that describe that noun = ADJECTIVES
Line 3 = three words that express action and end in -ing = VERBS
Line 4 = a four-word phrase about the way the noun makes you feel = PHRASE
Line 5 = a synonym of the initial noun = NOUN
